The second week of the mission is a time for intensive medical experiments, Earth documentation, and inspiring conversations with the youth.

The second week of the Ax-4 mission brought further stages of scientific research as well as educational and diplomatic activities. The crew focused on medical, biological, and material experiments, as well as Earth observations.

1 July — Commencement of EEG Studies and Cancer Experiment

For the first time, the crew engaged in the EEG Neurofeedback experiment, which investigates the impact of microgravity on brain activity. This is a milestone in space neurobiology. Concurrently, Peggy Whitson initiated the Cancer in LEO experiment, analysing the growth of cancer organoids in space — a study that could aid in developing therapies on Earth.

2–3 July — Muscles, Immunity, and Mental Well-being

Shubhanshu Shukla conducted the Myogenesis experiment, examining muscle fibre degradation and countermeasures. Tibor Kapu focused on radiation measurements as part of the Rad Nano Dosimeter. Meanwhile, the crew attended further AstroMentalHealth sessions — an important moment of self-reflection for some astronauts.

4 July — Earth Observations and Sprites

Spectacular photos of "sprites" — luminous phenomena over storms in the atmosphere — captured from the Cupola were the true highlight of the day. The images and recordings quickly circulated through social media, evoking admiration and commentary among internet users.

5 July — Lessons from Space and Interactions with Earth

The crew connected with students in Poland, India, and Hungary. Sławosz answered students' questions, including what "space pierogi" taste like and how challenging it is to sleep in a weightless state.

6–7 July — Conclusion of Initial Research Cycles

The crew focused on organising experiment data and preparing for subsequent mission phases. Peggy Whitson emphasised in her conversation with Axiom that "it is precisely now that conclusions arise that will stay with us long after returning to Earth."
