NASA, Axiom Space and SpaceX have announced a new planned launch date for the Axiom Mission 4. The Falcon 9 rocket with the SpaceX Dragon capsule is scheduled to launch from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Wednesday, 25 June at 08:31 Polish time (02:31 EDT).

The crew, including Polish astronaut Dr Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, will head to the International Space Station (ISS), where docking is expected on Thursday, 26 June at approximately 13:00 Polish time.

NASA will soon provide details regarding the live broadcast and additional information for media and mission observers. We will keep updating on the foundation's website and our social media channels.

The Ax-4 Mission, within which Dr Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski will fly to the International Space Station, has been postponed to no earlier than Sunday, 22 June 2025.

The change in the launch date is due to the necessity of conducting additional analysis of the International Space Station's systems following recently performed maintenance work on the rear service module Zvezda.

The crew – including Polish astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewskiremains in quarantine in Florida, following medical and safety protocols. All mission members are in good health and spirits, eagerly awaiting the launch.
